The sampling wasn't terribly scientific

Jana Philosophe carried a knife
in her potato-form bodice
A lightning bolt through her ear.
Fat speckled snakes ran through bamboo flowers
Down her arms
While lights danced in her blind cat's eyes
On the blank starred walls.

Legs Lloyd Overton ate his fists
as letters tumbled to the floor,
Shaky with caffeine poisoning.
His hat trembled
As his unmanaged reputation disintegrated.
